About

 Elea Lutz is a lifestyle designer specializing in surface patterns, textiles and paper goods. Elea has a passion for creative storytelling through playful and colorful illustrations that awaken the childhood spirit. Much of Elea’s inspiration comes from time spent with her mother and grandmother. Watching and learning: embroidery, crochet, sewing and crafting — and the delight in creating handmade treasures.

Elea collaborates creatively with companies small and large to develop fresh and unique art for textiles, crafts, clothing, giftware and more. Partnerships in the fabric and quilting industry have led to many wonderful fabric collections. Elea’s newest collections include, My Favorite Things, Oh What Fun, Sweet Tooth and Home Sweet Home.

With a heart for writing, sewing and making, Elea also authored several quilt and sewing pattern books, Pretty Playtime Quilts and Dolly.

Prior to launching her design studio, Elea created a design-driven toiletries brand called, Nostalgia. The collection appeared in boutiques around the globe, including highly coveted stores, such as Urban Outfitters and Beauty Habit.

Elea’s illustrations and products have been featured on the Today Show, DailyCandy, Seventeen, Martha Stewart Weddings and more, including the highly acclaimed package design destination, The Dieline.

When not dreaming and designing, Elea can be found roaming antique markets, chasing travel adventures and enjoying time with her husband, two boys and furry pals, Duke, Rosie and Maverick.
